    Common Challenges with the PSAT

    The PreACT, also known as PLAN, is similar to but less common than the PreSAT exam. The PLAN is taken in 10th grade to prepare for the ACT, which is taken in 11th or 12th grade. The PLAN exam is very similar to the ACT which can be more difficult for high school students as this is their first time doing a test of this size with a college-level curriculum. The PLAN assesses students' abilities in English, Math, Reading, and Science, so proper knowledge of all four dimensions is needed.
